Services and Fees

An intake session is the first session I provide for every client I see. In this 60 minute session I will gather information on you, your history, the reason you are seeking therapy, and your goals for treatment. In this session we will collaborate to come up with the best route of treatment for your unique needs. 

Some clients want me to collaborate with external collateral (family members, doctors, psychiatrists, etc). I only do this with explicit signed permission by my client to do so at a rate of $30 for every 10minutes of collaboration. 

A superbill is a detailed invoice regarding services you've received with Shook Counseling available upon request on a month basis to submit to your insurance provider. It is not a guarantee that your insurance provider will reimburse you for services you've received. 

This is your ongoing therapy sessions after the initial appointment. This session lasts 50 minutes and it is where we do the work to get you to your goals. You can schedule weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions.

Prepay for 4 sessions at a discounted rate. Each session lasts 50 minutes and comes out to be $120/session when you opt for this package deal. 

An extended individual therapy session lasts about 90 minutes. Clients often find an extended session helpful when needing extra time with intensive therapeutic work, such as an EMDR reprocessing session or IFS insight work.
